Is your browser safe against tracking?

When you visit a website, online trackers and the site itself may be able to identify you – even if you’ve installed software to protect yourself. It’s possible to configure your browser to thwart tracking, but many people don’t know how.

Panopticlick will analyze how well your browser and add-ons protect you against online tracking techniques. We’ll also see if your system is uniquely configured—and thus identifiable—even if you are using privacy-protective software.

I'm good. All browsers. Vivaldi and FF are so locked down it wouldn't run the test without me allowing scripts, turning off Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin. chuckle.gif
Palemoon is good right out of the box.
I don't even use plugins on it as I use it to test websites I make.

>>>Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 6,388,134 tested so far.

Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys at least 22.61 bits of identifying information.<<<

I'll settle for an estimate of two and a half bytes.

Yeah, but how much tracking can any data miners or even alphabet agencies really do with 2½ bytes of info?
It may be unique in terms of fingerprint, but it's not leaking much.
These type of tests are fun, but I really doubt how valid most are to begin with.

Windows 10, I just talked to my brother he's works on computers for a living, he told me to disable the edge browser, it could possibly be conflicting with FF or Vivaldi.

It started doing this after I downloaded Vivaldi, I'm going to give this a try see what happens.

Frustrating !!!

This may help https://www.safer-networking.org/spybot-anti-beacon
Supposed to keep 10 from calling home. Some swear by it. I ran 10 for a couple of days, saw what it was doing and got rid of it.

cheers.gif I've heard good things about anti-beacon, and Edge keeps all history from all other browsers from what I could see when I gave ten a brief shot.
