nine is right! vivaldi was easy to set up. but now i want to add some addons. does vivaldi have an add on store? i need my last pass and adblocker

i saw where i can individually delete old boookmarked sites with that bookmark icon in search bar. great. i will get used to this browser in no time

i was looking at vivaldi's under the hood configuration...where can i disable "history" to not save any?

It's blink based, so everything from chrome works. If I may recommend a couple addons, privacy badger https://www.eff.org/privacybadger
and uBlock Origin. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...iagm?hl=en
That's really all you need.
As far as history...
To switch history off is not available yet, like I said... tis Beta 2, however...Go to the menu and chose
File>New Private Window
in this window the browser records no history.

new p-rivate window , and make sure only one window is open , minimize and x out the
other window .

add blocker plus helped with speed on my machine , but there are still background sticky ass cookies that get through .

on windows , I download tcpview
open it and you see a bunch of tracking sites established even in private window using
adblock , so right click those and select close connections

always dump cookies prior to open private viewing .

sadly , on my G4 macs , there ain't nothing that supports them .
adblock discontinued for G4 processing

single core processors can't load because of back room content running

so maybe a browser will come along that supports an addblocker for G4
single core shït .

I love these apple books , but damn , last FF browser for them was 3.6
thats 34 versions ago .
shït and sniff it , pisses me off .

Cool trick! I read about it, it's legit. The value of 8 is the max connections it can do, so he's right.

Quote:Even if it could send 30 http requests at once, you wouldn’t want to set it that high. If everyone made 30 simultaneous http requests to every web server they connected with, the internet would be slow, webmasters would hate you (and Mozilla,) and your IP would probably be banned from many websites. There is a reason that this setting is turned off by default.
The higher you set this value, the more likely it is that you will break something. But don’t fret about it.
