Just to make sure we're on the same page, the pic below shows how I've got mine.
İmage
I only enable jump list tasks so recently opened stuff shows up on the start menu, personal pref.

I just opened my CCleaner to check my settings and had a notice that there is an update. When the update page opened up I saw that Full Cleaning is no longer an option for the free version.

WTF?

I guess I'll never upgrade then. What it does can be done manually, it just takes a bit longer.
There's no magic involved.

Running CCleaner ver. 5.13.5460
Under advanced
I have Windows event logs
and old prefetch data checked for removal.
It seems to be working. dunno.gif
On my next build, I'll install Windows 10 just for Steam gaming and that's it.
It's faster than 8.1 and way faster than 7 for Steam.
I'll dual boot with some form of Linux for surfing. Less worries about viruses and persistent tracking cookies and the like.
Ubuntu with LXDE is smokin' fast.

i dunno

i just run the damn thing. no idea about options.

also it keeps wanting me to d/l a new version.

for a long time too. lol.

i ignore it, because i have no idea where it goes if i do.

it doesnt automatically 'be' a new version if i d/l it like they say.

you gotta go find it and open this file and wtf-ever.

no clue.

Just Plain Nuts.

It just makes you go to the website, d/l and install. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

no way to tell, well.. except it does indeed log me out and stuff when it clears cookies.

other than that i dont know, it says no issues were found..

unless windows forced an update lol
the it will show 'unused extensions' or something
which i clear of course

'issue fixed'
lol

Just Plain Nuts.
