Quote:The last time a conventional flu season started this early was the winter of 2003-04, which proved to be one of the most lethal seasons in the past 35 years, with more than 48,000 deaths.

One key difference between then and now: In 2003-04, the vaccine was poorly matched to the predominant flu strain. Also, there's more vaccine now, and vaccination rates have risen for the general public and for key groups such as pregnant women and health care workers.

An estimated 112 million Americans have been vaccinated so far, the CDC said. Flu vaccinations are recommended for everyone 6 months or older.

CDC and WHO are just fronts for big pharma coffeetime.gif Some estimates are $20 billion spent in 2009 on H1N1 vaccines alone.

Soon they will be able to inject them directly into the fetus, if the final FDA stumbling block of 6 months or older is finally eliminated. 15.gif

Don't know about influenza shots. Shouldn't be using mercury as a preservative. The mercury is is used to stop staph and fungus growth. Wouldn't give mercury shots to young male children.

Don't know why they call it a "Bad Flu Season". Didn't know there was a good flu available.

iagree.gif Better to get the flu than thimerosal (mercury) laden shots. The flu will pass in a couple weeks in most cases, a neuro toxic compound like this is a very potent toxin and can result in depression, thyroid problems and even infertility.
I would never give this to a child.
The cure is worse than the ill.

It's pretty clear that the CDC is just the sales force for big pharma. Eat right, let your body fend off the germs. Pretty simple.

Not fully, but started tossing out all wheat flower and sugar from the pantry today. I got advice from runner diet experts while at my run over the weekend. They advise a 90% paleo diet, but I will need some carbs from other sources to fuel my races.
