Has it pretty much been rebuilt or are there still signs of that devastating quake, mate?

Still lots to be done , an because of all the New regulations on building , some developers have found that the costs have meant the rents they'll have to charge has put off businesses , -- thousands of people STILL having fights with insurance Co's

Our last conversation Ock, was that people were converting shipping containers into habitats, is that still going on?

So, from this article, it appears government there has outlawed shipping containers in Christchurch. I wonder why? They certainly would be earthquake resistant.

just had to drive thro the city center -- its a nightmare this WAS once a city of wide spacious streets -- Now because brain dead buffoons make up the council the streets are now narrow gutted death traps , all so they can have CYCLEWAYS ---- cant just park, and go into a shop , --- shopkeepers going bankrupt
