Quote:Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/ORC International survey released Thursday also indicates that President Barack Obama may be dragging down Democratic congressional candidates, and that the 2014 midterm elections are shaping up to be a low-turnout event, with only three in 10 registered voters extremely or very enthusiastic about voting next year.

coffeetime.gif CNN now verifies what I stated a couple of weeks ago. Of course, they could be wrong as they fekked up most every other story this year as well. chuckle.gif

Oh yeah, it's way to early to be counting those chickens, but I thought it was interesting that CNN actually reported it.

first time since like 1973,,,and then I just thought I was wrong,,,later on

found out I was actually right,,,but I figure the fact I thought I was wrong counts,,,

sorry for the rants,,,still trying to learn everything about all this,,,cause

I want to know about it,,,but won't touch the website itself,,,figure if I do,,,

and don't sign up,,,irs will send me a bill,,,and I have a private plan,,,and it

is cheaper,,,and better,,,don't know if that is because I have had it for a long time,,,

or what,,,but anyway,,,it works,,,not sure I fully trust this other stuff,,,

so,,,back on topic,,,

Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.

The problem is I dont believe anything the .gov says and I do know that people have been hired to push ACA, trying to make it look great.

I find it curious that all of the sudden this guy pops up here defending it when they need people to sign up cuz itz failing using talking points that sound like they're scripted.

You're very welcome Softy! cheers.gif

K, a lot of us have known Wayne for a very long time. He's just been gone for a couple of years.
I'm convinced he's not schilling for the ACA, and believe he's happy with the way it turned out for him, and I think that's great!
I'm uncomfy with a 5k deductible personally, that's a heck of a lot, and I can see where an illness with an extended hospital stay could break the bank for a lot of people.
Just like before the ACA.

Yeah,,,noticed you welcoming him back,,,and thanks for the

explain,,,and try not to call people names and such,,,he has his opinions,,,

and that is fine,,,I for sure have mine,,,too much some time,,,and yeah,,,

I am still wondering who is going to be paying for the deductibles on all

those bronze plans,,,got my guesses it will be the taxpayers or more

printed up money,,,on the old private plans,,,if you didn't pay up,,,premiums

or deductibles,,,they cancelled your plan,,,not sure they can do this now,,,

can they???,,,wondering this,,,haven't seen one thing that says yes or no,,,

I mean,,,what are they going to do,,,if they don't cancel you,,,then who is

going to ever pay anything,,,if they do,,,then won't be long before we are back

to uninsured folks everywhere,,,anyway,,,don't really like getting blamed for

folks not signing up,,,cause I am bad mouthing a bad plan,,,show me it is a good

plan and I will support it,,,and the deductible on that plan for a family is

12,700,,,don't know if that is for a family of two,,,or you need more,,,

anyway,,,lots of out of pocket on this deal,,,just not sure which pocket...

The dems are begging for donations to somehow beat the gop. I don't see what making constituents donating thousands has to do with it, but it's apparently the key to winning.
They said weeks ago they knew they wouldn't win in 2014.But who cares. Theyre all the same at this point.

You are right,,,they have spent a ton of money promoting this deal,,,

music bands,,,tv,,,poster boards,,,and individuals,,,not sure on forums,,,

and this one international and such,,,not a big sale,,,but you never know,,,

guess AK finally gave up on the sale,,,and yeah I will express my opinion,,,

think this whole thing got sold on getting elected,,,and they had very little

in the way of any kind of well thought out plan,,,and the politicians may have

the most to gain from this sale...

I disagree with Jay I think the guy has ulterior motive. He uses every talking point like they're coming off a teleprompter and trying to get people to go to that website (that is definitely not secure) to enroll into the latest form of surveillance state monitoring.

The site was not built with security in mind they just tried to make it secure after building it which would be like building a house foundation with twigs then adding a roof made of titanium that can withstand a bomb but not a gopher.

Step 1 would be nobody votes for reps. or dems. Thats the only way to end this cycle of BS.

They cant cheat if nobody votes for them.
