Quote:Rep. Peter King, a New York Republican and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, called carrying out such a scheme an "act of war" five times during a five-minute CNN interview.
While outlining several other steps that Washington may take, he insisted that no options be ruled out.

"We should not be ... automatically saying we're not going to have military action," King said Tuesday night, saying that this "flagrant and notorious" alleged plot brought already testy relations between the United States and Iran to a "very precipitous level."

"Everything should be left on the table when you are talking about a potential attack (in) the United States, an act of war."

Here come the war drums. Wouldn't be the first time a sitting president with low popularity and little chance of winning the next election to go to war to bolster him as a leader.
Stay the course seems like it may be the next hope and change replacement.

Drudgereport noted that the President and DOJ Holder were told of this way back in June.

Yup, this has Gulf of Tomkin, 9 1 1, etc. written all over it.
Given that a world war always comes hot on the heels of financial meltdown, I wouldn't see why this time would be any different. No new playbook here.
Sorry to say I think this COULD be a prelude to WWIII.

If we see more false flag incidents in other NATO countries, I agree, WWIII will be here.

That was a really good find yankees, the Reuters piece does indeed say the pres was briefed back in June. Why sit on this for 4 months?
Sounds like political timing, and election campaign shenanigans. 13.gif

Quote:According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court in New York, the plot was revealed by an informant inside the world of the Mexican drug trade, a man paid by U.S. drug agents to rat out traffickers.

In May 2011, the informant allegedly met with a Texas man named Manssor Arbabsiar, a 56-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen who also had an Iranian passport. The complaint doesn't say how the two were introduced, but Arbabsiar reportedly approached the informant, who he thought was an associate of a drug cartel well known for its violent tactics, to ask about his knowledge of explosives for an attack on a Saudi embassy.

I have to wonder also if this is DISTRACTION to keep Holder and the presidents butt out from under the microscope, Fast and Furious is a bigger demon to this admin than Iran could ever think of being...
Fast and Furious is this administrations Watergate, it just hasn't received much media hype for obvious reasons.

Woah...

Quote:Last week it was reported that the State Department and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were deeply involved in the scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, or Project Gunwalker. Today, however, new evidence has surfaced indicating that not only was Hillary deeply involved in the scandal but was one of the masterminds behind it.

Mastermind eh? The very term has some diabolical implications.
