0 degrees Celsius is the freezing point of water. 100 C is the boiling point. One liter of water weighs 1 kilo = 1 cubic decimeter.

1 millimeter of rain means one liter of water per square meter.

It makes more sense.

Fahrenheit is retarded for us Aussies too..

Yeah but Fahrenheit is the exact same thing as counting numbers like as in 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 ect ect is the exact same thing as 1 degree and 2 degrees and 3 degrees and 4 degrees and 5 degrees ect ect and surely counting numbers (as well as money also being the same) isnt illogical? and to me if i equated Celsius with counting numbers 1 plus 2 instead of being 3 would be 18.5 or someting?! but alas i do understand that its all got to do with how we are taught as a young child...

Saturday almost noon time right now its 25F degrees and yet tomorrow meaning this coming Sunday is amazingly going to be 55F to 60F degrees once again and then just a few days later Thursdays day time high temperatures are going to be a frigid 12F degrees with a night time arctic low of 2F and 1F degrees for both Thursday and Friday and beyond like what the f##k?! like what a weird rollercoaster ride of temperature extremes that we just cant get accustomed to feeling and enduring around here...

And its not got a lot to do with our tin cans and styrofoam cups but has a lot to do with strange cyclical fluctuations of the suns solar nuclear furnace winds driving and twisting earths jet streams and all the tree hugging and plastic bottle reduction in the world isnt going to stop the next inevitable and all consuming ice age from being unleashed > http://www.whdh.com/weather
