Christopher Lee releases heavy metal album to celebrate 92nd birthday

Sir Christopher Lee celebrated his 92nd birthday by releasing a heavy metal album.

Though he's older than most head-bangers and a full-fledged knight, Lee says the music has a lot in common with much of the fantasy ("Lord of the Rings") and horror ("Dracula") roles to which he's been drawn over his career.

"I associate heavy metal with fantasy because of the tremendous power that the music delivers," Lee said in a video uploaded late last week teasing the album.

I remember him as count Yorga he made a lot of those vampire movies in the 70's

I agree, those movies used to scare the crap out of me as a kid. I love horror movies, I used to come home after Godzilla movies and envision him walking by the second story bedroom window lol.gif uhoh.gif
Used to dream about vampires for weeks after seeing those movies.

Beyond the classic Japanese giant monster movies that i like so much England's Hammer studios made and released easily at least a hundred different awesome cult classic horror and science fiction films of all types and varities that i've seen over and over again thrilling and frightening me throughout my childhood even more than Hollywood movies ever did back then and i still watch as many of them as i can find now > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammer_Film_Productions
