there is one Boat in our Marina ,,, that actually has that name already painted on it .

problem is , to read the name on it , you have to swim down to it .

only the mast is above the water line now .

I guess it failed as a boat .

behind Beepers

is a Home made Rudder I built for her Boat

All Material for this Rudder was gleaned for free .

it is a 5/8" inch thick Poly Cutting Board from a discarded Counter top
the Tiller ( Handle ) is a Piece of Discarded Electrical Conduit

The Tiller is wrapped with a discarded used Bicycle Inner Tube

The Hinges are actually Door Hinges I gleaned from a discarded
door .

The Nuts and Bolts were gleaned from discarded furniture and Bike parts .

Total cost of this Rudder = $ 0.00

Even a Used Rudder for this boat would cost $200 here in Portland Oregon .

Simplify
minimalize
SPECIALIZE your belongings

re-use
re-cycle

and teach yourself and others the skills to live an easier more efficient , and simple
lifestyle .

Total cost of this Boat as of today ?

Still just $70

Another very good DEAL , was this Toyota Corrolla from a Neighbor .

I paid $300 for it .

at 28 to 30MPG

it seems to make gas as it goes down the road

it runs perfect
and has brand new tires, battery , radiator, and all hoses and belts .

everything on it works fine .

POINT : You can live as cheap as you allow yourself .

New Car ? yeah and payments. and high tax on license fee's
and Insurance is high .

But you NEED a new Car ,,, right ?

You NEED IMAGE , right ?

No you don't , you just THINK you need Image .

Cool Beans

man if Gayla read that , she'd bust a gut .

she invented that phrase in 1969.

Hey
The Beepers and I took out the boat to test that home made Rudder

result : IT WORKED BITCHEN BEANS

On our way back to the Marina
the Wind Came up and of course , it increased the Chop in
the River

beepers was a Bit scared from all the bouncing .

We beached the Boat on the East end of the Island and played fetch
with a stick

she was so ecstatic man

she is all tuckered out now ,,, she watching her eyelids for a while .
