I spent many years playing out in the woods all year long during all seasons and all types of weather climbing in the leaves and up in the standing trees and on the fallen tree logs and large rocks and i never once found a tick on me or my clothing because around here anyways those blood sucking disease infested little vampires like to hang around inside fields and abandoned grown over parking lots and near water like ponds and streams because theres not usually a readily available blood supply walking around in the deep woods that ticks can easily find and attach themselves to as they like to perch themselves upon the edges and tops of tall grass blades and wait for something to graze and walk nearby so ticks are not looking and waiting for blood up in the trees and theres no tall grass growing out in the forest at least not around here...

More freezing cold temps here today. I was going to go into work this morning, but decided to pull the covers over my head instead.

wave.gif Good morning Octo - -6C is warm compared to what we have here. My little fingers get so cold if I'm out for even 2 minutes.

If that's fleece, JR, then it won't keep my fingers warm. They have to be thinsulate, an insulated material, or it just doesn't do the trick for me. Well, unless I stick both gloved hands in the pockets of my down coat.

Those mitts are marvelous, I use them at work. I have a handheld computer and need to be able to enter data accurately but still keep my hands from freezing off, nothing else is as good.

Supposed to warm up here now yay.gif

When it's as cold as it's been I wear double mittens, my home knitted ones under my thinsulates. That's 3 layers with plenty of warm air inside.beercheer.gif
