Maybe thousands or millions of years from now super intelligent bipedal cockroach scientists will excavate and unearth the fossilized remnants of our royal bloodline elite leaders frozen in time still hiding down inside their subterranean atomic blast proof bunkers that our tax enslaved megabucks built for them where you and i are not invited...

It's close to -17C (~2F) here right now. Pretty crisp air outside. Looks like back up to thawing point after the weekend though. beercheer.gif

While the Northeast is blanketed by another winter storm, California has its own, quite inverse, climatic problems in the form of a historic drought. Unfortunately for our California readers, it is going to get worse before it gets better because mountain snowpack is about 12 percent of normal for this time of year. The following picture of California from January and a year ago shows just this dramatic difference, which confirms that there is little hope for the parched state.

A snowpack 12% of normal is rather bad damned.gif

If I'm dressed right most days are comfortable. To live this far north you just have to deal with this climate. Or be miserable. It's a couple of degrees above freezing here right now, it's actually quite comfortable chuckle.gif

Yes,key words indeed "dressed right" but my warmest winter jacket is actually too warm for shoveling and scraping snow and ice because i quickly get so hot i end up taking it off,but if i was just walking around at night beneath moonlight glistening upon the new fallen snow everywhere then i would be fine wearing it and as far as that goes a hooded jacket is a must so much warmer and comfortable than a wool hat, especially against the vicious unforgiving frigid wind, along with insulated gloves and two pairs of socks worn within waterproof boots (*-*)
