After a three-week flirtation with a new campaign for the White House, Mitt Romney announced Friday that he will not seek the presidency in 2016.

Nice guy, admirable businessman, but like last round, I don't think he can garner enough votes.
His wife was quoted as saying if he runs, he'll be the first divorced Mormon president - that may have influenced him a little. [/b]

We really need a Dark Horse to appear, if not this will once again be The Illusion of Choice Election.

Jeb Bush Vs Hillary Clinton, is what Im projecting for the Contestants. With Bush winning. America has had enough of the DEMs for a while.

Jeb was a good governor, but I feel Hillary can probably beat him. dunno.gif We'll see if Americans are receptive to a GOP president, I'm not so familiar with the political tone in the US these days.
Hard to trust the media, Fox is too far right, CNN and MSNBC too far to the left. I like what Rand Paul and Dr. Ben Carson have going on, they both seem pretty likable.
The debates are going to be very interesting to say the least.

and this from the Loggins and Messina Song : " Same old Wine "

Well , we give them the Election
and they keep filling our heads
with lies

How can we trust in new directions
when their promises are in disguise ?

~~~ End ~~~
The lyrics were written in 1971 during the Nixon / McGovern
race .
True as it was 200 years ago
true as it was in 1971
have we a solution available to us ?
Only if we get off our lazy booties , and attempt to enact
our full potentialities , rather than simply
float upon our individual Islands of Comfort Food
and Entertainment distractions .
Self help Books , the most popular literature sold in the U.S.
Soap Operas the most popular televised productions .
Built Ford Tough , only to be wasted on weak minds .
Well at least you realize at that point you need help so it's something. Something other than doing your own thinking and reflecting.
