Compensation and Redemption

Somebody asked me what is a redeeming quality for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I said, there is none that exists.
What good there is, is far too little far too late, or isn't unique to Philadelphia.

Philadelphia's high education and healthcare standards isn't unique to Philadelphia, That is par for the course in that area of the country.
And Much, Much better exists.

Philadelphia's supermarkets are no compensation either, though they sell more than you'll ever need, the variety of food is actually low for that area of the country.

Philadelphia's cheesesteaks are no compensation, I can get that bread and meat anywhere in that area of the country, and I worked for a few pizza places that sell them before..... and its not healthy at all whatsoever.. the chicken parm sandwich in new York is better for you.

The nationally high pay in Philadelphia is also no compensation, its also par for the course in that area of the country, and better exists elsewhere.

The nationally high standard of living in Philadelphia is no compensation.. being a cultural bridge between the North and South called the "Mid Atlantic", it is lower than the true Northeast that is New England...
Making it an aggravating factor... not a redeeming one.

The nationally high technological reliability of Philadelphia is also no compensation, IT's par for the course in that area of the country.

So what exactly is a compensatory, redeeming factor for Philadelphia's high crime rate, and ignorant, violent rotten people ?

Not a whole lot, maybe change that isn't happening.

Philadelphia cream cheese is pretty good, but I don't buy it. Way to much crap in it and too expensive when you can make something twice as good for a fraction of the price yourself. I guess that doesn't qualify as a redeeming quality though.

any single small thing like that is a joke.
and you are right about that, that you can make something better for yourself.

You thought I was French, but alas, I was Finnish all along. You got the first letter right so you can get a cookie for that.

We gleefully and nearly giddily give away all our secrets to passing data miners, so we can better be served by advertising. chuckle.gif
