I am unable to finish the design work on my book in Panama City. I use a desk top computer with Ethernet. What options and requirements would there be if i were to go to another city? USB? Do hotels have work stations to plug into? Are there internet stores like there are coffee shops?

Let's make 5G safe by installing zirconium ceramic bricks to the cell masts. It will save the providers billions of dollars quickly by reducing interference.

WI-FI mostly.
Make sure you have a built in modem or bring a Cat 5 to plug and play your built in NIC.

Please pardon my ignorance. If the documents are placed on a USB, would a hotel offer something to plug it into?

It also depends on what program you used to create your design work. Even if you put it on a USB the files on it won't be recognized unless the computer has a program that can open the files.

There are usually PDF readers on computers so that should be ok. Word documents can be shady, but should be ok on most modern windows systems. But this is of course only for viewing the files, not editing them. If you want to alter the design you need some other programs depending on what you want to do. You can rent a range of Adobe creative suite programs for about 20 per month if you need to get designing.
