I needed to travel to another part of London yesterday and so headed to London's Victoria station to get the "Tube" Underground. When I got there I found many people wanting to enter the underground station but being told it was closed due to flooding. That struck me as strange considering there had been no rain.
Later I found out what they meant by flooded.
The civil engineering team had poured fast-setting concrete into the Victoria Line signalling equipment room and shut everything down!
So there you go, Victoria Line screwed because of fast-setting concrete!
Life is like a penny, you can spend it on what you like, but you can ONLY spend it once.
