Quote:The relationship between Bachman-Turner Overdrive's four core members was once so frosty, the band couldn't even agree long enough to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Hi Kil. Yeah, the did the same thing with Rush. Maybe the Juno judge's criteria are bands with songs that stand the test of time.

Quote:During the last four U.S. presidential campaigns, both candidates have used either “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” or “Takin’ Care of Business” as campaign songs until they were served with cease and desist orders. Actor Will Ferrell has featured BTO songs in two movies: “Takin’ Care of Business” in The Campaign, and “Let It Ride” in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. -

I'm very certain that BTO's debut album (yes, album) was my first one. I was in 7 grade.

Good for them! They were popular a bit before my time, and didn't get much airplay in Indiana for whatever reason. dunno.gif

Might have been due to the lack of a banjo player. coffeetime.gif
