All college students are 'starving' rofl.gif I lived on brown rice and oranges. But I was lucky, one of my room mates was a bouncer at the campus bar and would let us know when the beer rep.s were there so we'd get free beer now and then woohoo.gif

You lived somewhat healthy...with the addition of beer now and again, you lived good too. lol.gif

Actually, I just heard on the radio that a new study states that poverty stricken people eat more healthy, than we do in the West. I can believe it.

Actually, I just heard on the radio that a new study states that poverty stricken people eat more healthy, than we do in the West. I can believe it.

At that time a 2lb bag of rice was $2 and a 10lb bag of oranges $3, that would feed me for at least a week (and I often shared with roomies). One crap burger with fries was $4 and last half a day. I also found a sneaky way to counterfeit tickets to the nursing tech dances which ALL the guys wanted lmao.gif that put a few pesos in my pocket.
