These storms are quite early. Hurricane season doesn't officially begin until June.

India is in the crosshairs of Amphan (pronounced Um-pun) a cyclone that's rapidly turning into a Cat-5 and predicted to hit low lying heavily populated areas in two days.

Arthur, a tropical storm near Georgia, is about to scrape NC by 8 am tomorrow morning.

Thus I'm going to do a little experiment and let you know the timing. Let's see what happens. These kinds of storms have a beneficial role when they are out to sea because they keep the oceans from getting too warm.

Of course, when thy hit land it is another matter entirely.

Stay tuned!

Amphan has decreased its windspeed by as much as 65 mph and is also showing further weakening since my inventions were directed towards it. At the time that the devices were redirected, Amphan had reached 165 mph and was showing signs of further strengthening only to reverse course within an hour or so.

Although the storm surge is still a very big danger, it is still a blessing if tens of millions of people can be spared the catastrophic effects of a Cat-5.

Don't you love it how these sorts of timely coincidences occur!

The Cat-5 storm that showed every sign of increasing its speed beyond 165 miles an hour started to slow down immediately after 12:30 central time and continued to slow down for two days to as little as 95 miles an hour just prior to landfall.  It was quite the coincidence in a series of Hall of Fame Coincidences.

I'm looking forward to more of them.

I just read that hurricanes can form all year round.
