My sis grows catnip from seed outdoors then harvests it then freezes it and feeds it to the cats during the Winter. They all love it.

I tried growing it. It usually got about a foot high before it disappeared and was replaced by stoned slobbering cats lounging in the back yard.

lol.gif That was me in the hot tub.

Okay, so I sprayed that mosquito repellent everywhere at my sis's rural home (with tons of skeeters) and it did NOT keep the skeeters away...so FAIL!

Anyway, I've been bit so many times at this point, that any new bites are not a problem because my immune system is on high alert!

Supposedly some essential oils work. I was told that ...for sure - Lavender and Eucalyptus - but I will need to experiment to find the right potency and blend. It may be that we all need special blends depending on our scent and our location in the world.

We had a cat named Blackie, He was Awesome, he gave me the idea for my Ninlives picture, when I came out of my coma my friends started calling me Ninelives.

We have catnip come up every year in our garden, It seeds like crazy.

I put sulfur in the yard every year, it keeps the Fleas and Mosquito's and bugs out, they will not lay their eggs, it burns them.

Do you have B- blood? I hear we are skeeters candy. I know they prefer me to most people. It is also supposed to have something to do with how much CO2 your body produces.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
