The great shortbread bake off. Went for a drinky poo and tasted the neighbor's shortbread. It's exactly like mine. I even watched her destroy her mix master making it rofl.gif then I told her I use a cordless drill for the dough. duh.

There is no loser in the shortbread contest.

Making potato skins for dinner. This might be fun. I have way too many ingredients in the fridge to not use. Old gingr. stale cheddar. shrivled chives. no bacon but that salami might do.

Some of the best foods come out of those fridge cleaning sessions, you put things together that you normally wouldn't. I think salami works great if you don't have bacon in any recipe I can think of. But that's not very much right now, fyi. drinking.gif

Hunger is not much of a problem around here this time of year, it's more being forced to make room in the fridge for all the goodness. The kids are home and I was up making brunch for everyone today. Breakfast wraps with bacon and eggs and blueberry buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup for 7 people whew.gif

Family and food is about the only things I like about Christmas. I did get parcels shipped on time, but what a chore shopping is.

The potato skins were awesome. drool.gif
