Two 2 meter 1x1 to make an A-frame that I secured to the wall, covered with some gold chiffon fabric (an old curtain). I would have used something green if I had any. Nails all the way on the sides of the frame to wrap lights and tinsel around and then all the balls and ribbons I could find. It's just some gift wrapping ribbons I tied bows out of. Tadaa! Didn't spend a cent on it and it doesn't take up any space.

Lights off

That is absolutely genius and that would make a really good product to sell online. You could take it a step further by creating wall decorations (inside and outside) for Thanksgiving and other holidays where decorations would be desired. You could also add hooks at the bottom to hang Christmas stockings, or a shelf for presents.

Another option would be for her to make them herself at home, to start, then if her company's growth demands it, then lease a building and hire local people.

I think this is more suitable for a DIY project, but sure it can be adapted to something easy to pack and ship I guess. hmm.gif

I would think you could come up with either a collapsible frame (like a tent) for ease and quick decorating, or lightweight wooden dowels with locking elbows, perhaps to make different Christmas tree shapes, e.g. short and fat, tall and slim, or multiple shapes...perhaps something in the nature of different length dowels and gel-like elbows that would hold the dowels tightly and allow for making different shapes (like a child's building toy).
