I have decided to add diplomats to the list of fictitious characters, those like superman, godzilla, spiderman and all others.

They are granted the opportunity to sit on a podium, speak to nations and the crowd cheers and claps at them. They ride luxary state cars and people wave at them. They always look clean in elegant suits, it is expected from them that they only use their brain to do their job. They are paid big salaries and who can tell what other bonuses goes with?

If they were real gentlemen, peace-loving and true diplomats, they would gather inside a room and do not leave until they come up with an agreed global decision.

I hear that USA, France, Germany, Italy, among the BIG ones and others are on one side, while Russia, China, the BIG ones and others are on another. I cannot understand it at all, I mean if they are really diplomats, gentlemen and peace-loving, they should have common roads that lead to common goals.

If I have to believe that this world is run by people of good will I expect them to face to face, Obama, Putin, Ayrault, Cameron, Jiabao, Letta, also Assad [he will be given the opportunity to say what he has to], and all others in one room. When they come out with a unique agreed solution, then I would believe that diplomats are not fictitious at all.

By the way, is'nt there the UN? Oh no forgot to add that to the list in the first place.

It's like my friend Col. Frank Slade once said : "This is such a crock of shït"

“Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” ― David Mitchell
