Its a popular childrens book and tv show here in the Usa came out in 1962 and still going.

But there seems to some sort of Mass Memory alteration going on here. Interesting read. I been on the phone with everyone I know for that past several hours. They and I remember "Berenstein" as well.

Real freaky

Yeah I browsed through the article. Makes no sense to change Beren-stein to -stain lol. Unless you really want to stain that name.

It was Berenstain all along, Ever since the first book was published in 1962.

But no one remembers that. They all remember Berenstein.

Something very odd has happened here.

Glitch in the Matrix, on a mass scale.

And this time its not just us CT people that noticed it. Everyone did.

did it come with bedtime slippers ?

was it Purple ?

did it ride a Pee Wee Herman Bike ?

did it live in Mr. Rogers neighborhood ?

Did Bozo the Clown use it to hide his Wine in ?

Did Goldie Locks loose her food, and find them sleeping in her Bed ?

No ?

Ive called a bunch of family and friends they all remember Stein as well and when they do a Internet search they are in a state of Disbelief.

Some very strange reactions. My son is gifted, photographic memory almost. He's almost like a miniature Mr. Spock. He's in a state of denial and tripping out, Because he read the book and watched the show every Saturday while he was younger. He's calling his friends and they all say Stein as well.

This is almost creepy.

I been banging around the CT forums for awhile, and this has me stumped as well.

I read these books as a child and as a Adult I read them to my kids. I sat through countless hours of them being on TV in the background. Not to mention T shirts pajamas and everything else they were plastered on in our home.

So I'm trying to convince myself that for around 53 years I never saw or noticed the proper spelling

Well, there is a discrepancy between German spelling and American pronunciation. Berenstein would be closer to Berenstain than Berentsteen in my grammar nazi mind. Maybe they just changed the name and erased the trail.

That means they would have to have gone into every home and library and switched the books

The books didn't get switched.

Our memories have been altered

Sounds Crazy, but its the only logical explanation I'm coming up with right now.

I like to think it's a good day when illusions die. Sure it fucks you up, but it's for the better.

This is perplexing to say the least.

I haven't been down a rabbit hole since Harold Camping died chuckle.gif

I don't get much feedback over at my place, so I thought Id toss in over here and see what the Kritters have to say.

We always here of MK Ultra stuff on a Individual. Or Mind control by Cults and Cult leaders. Not to often we come across possibly Millions making the same "Mistake" and forming a long term Memory of it.
