The lesson was to help people who have bigger problems than you have/had.

There's nothing called the holidays here. There's Yule and New Years. In between them are the middle days. I work the middle days but I have Monday off.

Santa logistics. It only makes sense that Santa starts out here on Christmas eve before he leaves the country to get everyone else their stuff on Christmas day.

That's what new years resolutions are for.

I tried to counteract it by gaining weight way before Christmas so I could comfort drink and eat and be merry and pretend to not notice. 13.gif

There's been so many fkn baked goods at work from November ffs, mulled wine cheesecakes, orange cheesecakes, cupcakes, all things chocolate...

Damn my coworkers 13.gif

It's normal to get bit down this time of year. When we were kids it was all magic, but as we grow older it becomes...

Kinda' creepy strange.

Add to the mix, up here we have around four plus hours of twilight per day and it all makes for some surreal oddness this time of year.

On a side note, spring is coming... in a hundred days or so. bored.gif
