They finally found Ryle a mile away from his house, huddling inside a bush with his two dogs right next to him.

Firemen scooped Ryle up and covered him in a blanket.

He didn’t have shoes on, so his feet were almost frostbitten, Holly Smith told ABC News.

He had holes in his clothes and cuts on parts of his body. Ryle was taken to the hospital and released that same night.

His dogs had kept him alive. Rescue workers told the family that the dogs had been lying on top of the boy the whole time. His upper extremities were warm.

The coolest dog i ever knew was my grandparents old german shepherd. I never heard her bark once when we were out during the day and she was always right by your side, never running off to chase something. They are hard to find around here these day's. The worst expereince was with a black lab of mine that would dig holes, break chains and jump on people. Completely out of control. The entire family was afraid to even feed her except me. She acctualy tried to falow my mother to work one day and never came back.
