'No matter what your job there are benefits and values to your work because hopefully you're able to buy food and keep a roof over your head; to live with some basic ease and joy and to help other people.

But what about doing what you passionately long for and dream about?'

this would be ideal of course..
if you can figure out what it is......

The two most important days in your life are the day you're born, and the day you find out why. - Mark Twain

Very true, if you're ever lucky enough to stumble on what you were born to do.

yeah.. that is just it.

at one time i thought i would be a singer. it is all i wanted to do.

then life happened and.. well.. i got less interested in dealing with people...
so it just didnt fit anymore..

most of my work has pretty much been factory type work which i was perfectly happy doing..
but now that has gone the way of the dinosaurs and i have no clue what to do now.

dunno.gif

more power to anyone who figures it out.

ok, i just did this quiz.. here is the result:

http://www.higherawareness.com/soul-purpose-test.php

The highest score you received is 2 - a desire to become "A free courageous principled leader".

and that, is a clickable link, so i clicked it and supposedly these are the choices for me:

Your highest purpose involves leadership. Below are some phrases that may give you more clarity. Pick and choose different words and create your own purpose or vision statement.

To inspire people out of inertia
To help people break out of crystallized thinking
To liberate people from bondage or oppression
To preserve spiritual values and principles
To lead people to new realms of health, living or accomplishment
To create new ways of thinking
To express your power (empowerment), without using force (manipulation)
To lead people to spiritual enlightenment and illumination
To be free to make a difference in the world
To be one with the One Life
To carry out the divine Will
To persist at leading or creating something which affects many people

lol
which doesnt tell me anything.

i dont think i have taken this kind of quiz before lol

ok i did another one which i lost the damn results to.. said something about i was born to be an artist and that i dont care about fitting in to society, but i should be careful not to be too lone-wolf cause i might end up refusing to pay taxes or something. lol.

so i did this one http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?obj_id=1519

and got:

What`s your main purpose in life!?

An Undecided Wanderer.

You`re as yet not certain what your path in life is. You are still exploring the world and your options, looking for a goal or a purpose that motivates you, and gives your life more of a purpose. But do not worry, just because you haven`t found what your looking for, doesn`t mean it`s not out there. Keep searching.

well DUH!! lol.gif

that was why i was taking their dang quiz!

ffsi..

lol

k this is kinda fun.

one more lol http://www.soundstrue.com/quiz/instruction/

this one gives you scores for different categories..

so i got this:

Hunter 10
Caregiver 3
Creator 10
Thinker 16
Helper 10
Educator 9
Performer 14
Leader 10
Spiritualist 14

so here is my highest one:

Thinker

Most Thinker types are cerebral, skeptical individuals, who often discount their emotions or intuition in favor of rational analysis. This intellectual approach to life can cause some Thinkers to appear restrained and unemotional to those around them. When hurt, they have to analyze or rationalize what happened before allowing themselves to feel their emotions. Once the emotions kick in, however, Thinkers can feel things as deeply as any other soul type.

A love of books is one of the most common markers for this soul type. In fact, librarians are almost always Thinker types, as are most scientists, writers, and college professors. That doesn’t mean that every Thinker ends up in a library or university. They can find their place anywhere in the world, though they can always be recognized by their analytical approach to life.

If you’re a Thinker, academic learning should come naturally to you, as should writing. You might find it useful to carry a notebook with you to help analyze your thoughts as they come. You will enjoy good one-on-one conversation, as this allows you to process your thoughts through discussion and analysis. Your life will be a constant search for knowledge and understanding.'

so, i am a thinking spiritualistic performer.
and hunter.

lol
YaY ! NOW im gettin' somewhere!!

Omg! scream.gif

What`s your main purpose in life!?

To raise a family.

The family is a crucial part in your life and you strive to do the best job you possibly can in bringing up and taking care of a healthy, happy family. Spending time with your loved ones is the most precious thing in life to you. You are a family person at heart, and your family is lucky to have you.

my closest family is October and my Mum..

i was never interested in kids lol.

cannot even imagine being into that. maybe cause i am the youngest.
so when i came in, the whole family was already complete..
i didnt see any new babies come home or anything.

so i dunno one thing about them.

maybe too, women who have kids are far more.. grown up than i am lol..
i am still just the youngest, in many ways.

You and Mason have your hands full.

I tried to pursue a career doing what I love most, but no one would pay me to get high.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

Without the withering armor of greed driven denial i face...

A horrible faith shattering truth realizing my evil fate...

That every single moment of every damn step of the way...

Hopes are crushed ceaselessly forced through the gauntlet rat raced...

From out of my innocent cradle and into the abyss of my grave...

Just robotically dragged with miserable loveless hate...

One step in front of the other again and again with pain...

While realizing all too clearly that any way i try to relate...

Yesterday and tomorrow and today i cant see any other way...

All work is a four letter word endlessly entranced ablaze...

Doing what someone else wants me to do trapped in rabid decay...

Where and when they demand me to do it just obey...

Someone elses pawn another tax extortion slave...

Brain washed and mind controlled the hardest way...

Earning more and more meaningless money so finacially raped...

Killing myself to live for another persons monetary gain...

My confused mind crazed by possessive obsessions i cant slay...

Buying ever more materialistic illusions with eyes blind and glazed...

Tricking me into thinking i really need and cant live without them just crave...

Illusory objects that will only wither fade and disintegrate...

Returning back into the star dust of eternal nothingness from where they came...

Unknown destinations where you and i are going just a breath away...

I have huge regrets about this. I do love my profession, but if I could do it all over, 20/20 hindsight, I'd never have taken this path.
