The best is distilled just once, so you can taste the corn. Often it's double or triple distilled, and all the flavor is gone.

Make sure it's a Märzen!
I brew this at home and drink it year round.

Incidentally, Mexican Modelo and Dos Equis are examples of Märzen but are made with corn instead of barley.
Who knew?

I make plum wine, hard cider, and corn whiskey. fkyeah.gif

Plum wine makes a great reduction for duck glaze and I reduce hard cider in the candy coated crust of my granny Smith Apple pies.
Sounds like you have a good collection of products for the perfect meal, I'm sure that corn whiskey would make a great dessert or BBQ sauce.

Have you tried distilling your plum wine?
It may be possible to make a pretty good fortified plum wine or a type of brandy.
That sounds good too.

I've been searching high and low for this.
F.S.K. was one of my favorite bands.

I like plum wine too much as it is. If I had more plum trees, I would distill it.

Update:
Finally have decent Wi-Fi.
Last night dinner was excellent!
Roasted chicken, corn on the cob and slaw.
Beer was kinda spendy @$6.00 a cup but many varieties to choose from.
Great performance by Mollie B. and many other bands flown in from Germany by our friends at Lufthansa.
Spent $300.00 and not really sure on what specifically.
Beer was spendy though.
Returning this evening to catch another couple of bands that are supposed to be outstanding.
Found T-Shirts that Say:
"Make America Polka Again".
İmage
Pretty kewl.
Tonight will try the knockwurst and metwurst.
