Tropical Storm Harvey, which had dissipated recently, has reorganized and is headed for the Texas gulf coast, possibly as a hurricane. Regardless of strength the storm is expected to stall over the region and dump a huge amount of rain, a few feet of rain. A hurricane watch has been issued for the the region. Doom is on the menu for sure damned.gif

Now the storm appears to have gone stationary over the gulf, picking up more and more energy, gaining strength by the hour. damned.gif

More then likely it will come up thru West Texas, and we do not need it, Our cotton needs some really Hot dry weather....

That could mess our crops up.

Hurricane Harvey is now Category 2 and is barely moving at all. There is still time for the storm to reach Category 4 or even 5.

Just came to report this. It reminds me of Wilma when it hit SoFlo. It was supposed to be a weak cat 1 and in a matter of hours it jumped to a strong cat 4.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

They are saying it will stall out, Possiable

I grew up Houston, and Lubbock and OKC, the Weather changes every 5 minutes,

1970 the Lubbock tornado May 11th took our roof our off, I was in a closet. I was 4 years old and remember as if it was yesterday.

1999 Oklahoma tornado outbreak, I was working at WH Stewart steal, I was working in the maintenance department. We all went to the file room 1 story down. it ripped thru the buildings, after I did all the HVAC work for the new powder paint line.

1995 OKC bombing, I was working on a 600 ton break press when the bomb went off, it leveled the plant, I ran out in the street,
W Sheridan Ave, Oklahoma City, OK WW steal got hit too.

And you guy's know the rest of the story, I earned my nick name Ninelives.

Nobody calls me Chris, it always Ninelines or Nine.

This is going to suck if Harvey comes up in Lubbock County, Lynn County, & Dawson County.....

Our Cotton is looking better then it has since 2011, Oh God I am praying this hurricane goes east, into Houston and makes its way east to Louisiana.

Two of our farms are in Lynn & Dawson County...Our main crops.

Lubbock County, we can deal with, I'm getting worried !!!

I have posted pictures of our farms on this forum in the past, I pray my next pictures are not under water.
