Dreaming Of Dreams I Dreamed In A Dream

No one really knows what we are and no one really knows where we are and no one really knows why we are,but i know we have done this all before, everyone of us past and present and future born a baby to live and be young to grow old and wither to die again and again and again our eternal souls experience this strange material reality and maybe forever infinitely and some dreams are so much more than dreams,so filled with colors and sounds and movements and amazing deatils from other places lost and found somewhere in time and space...

Several nights i have dreamed what were clearly and can only be described as being past life memories, like speaking fluent german while being bombarded by hell storms of heavy artillery, most likely explaining my fascination with germany and war, while peering out across a sunlit autumn colored clearing and forest from inside a concrete bunker, along with other screaming soldiers all of us dressed in either world war one or world war two uniforms and then we suffered a direct hit and i died instantly and here and now please realize that i speak no german whatsoever...

And i also dreamed of crossing the atlantic ocean long ago to the new world within the swaying lantern lit hull of an old sailing ship, surrounded by people some sick and farm animals,as well as a very pregnant woman with fever who was clearly looking right at me into my eyes and she was well aware of my presence there, with all of us sitting and laying around upon hay and i could distinctly hear and feel the storm tossed pounding waves crashing against the ship,i mean like f###en wow,as well as other fantastic mind bending reincarnation illuminating dreams...

You have some very wonderful and vivid memories of past life experiences Cosmic.

I know I've been around the block a few times myself, but have no real recollection of anything from previous lives.

That stated, here is the mind blower that I experienced.

When I was around four, my grandparents had some close friends they would visit from time to time and take me with them.

Whenever I would go there I got the strangest feeling, and when I began to be able to articulate those feelings, I finally told her; "this reminds me of the place I lived when I was big" (grown up.)

Of course she laughed it off (probably nervously) and didn't have much to say about it, but I never forgot those stairs that lead up to their kitchen.

The stairway architecture, the yellow paint, the double landings, the linoleum all seemed so very familiar.

So much so that I never really forgot the place... strangely enough.

So now, here's where it all gets really weird.

When I first moved to Finland and Octo took me home to the brewery where she lived, I don't mind telling you I was absolutely floored!

There was the stairway, double landings, the architecture, the yellow walls, exactly as I had remembered.

I wasn't recalling anything from a past life, what I was recalling was apparently from my own future.

I don't know, I just can't seem to come to terms with it, unless I'm in a time loop or something.

I really don't possess anything spectacular in regard to precognition, so I have no explanation whatsoever for this, but thought I would share this as it's pretty out of the ordinary, as are your own past life experiences.

The paint and linoleum was added way after you had that experience I want to add. Not only did the earth move, the heavens did too.

That particular period was watches melting on tree branches surreal. Then to find out the brewery was quite haunted... it's weird.

hmm.gif I don't think I've ever read anything like that. I can spot a fish story a mile away, and that was as sincere as anything I've ever read.

Quote:"Take this kiss upon the brow
And in parting from you now
Thus much let me avow
You are not wrong who deem
That my days have been a dream
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night or in a day
In a vision or in none
Is it therefore the less gone
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream"

"I stand amid the roar
Of a surf tormented shore
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand
How few yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep
While I weep while I weep
O God Can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp
O God can I not save
One from the pitiless wave
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream"

Edgar Allan Poe - 1809 - 1849

Still having problems with the "past lives" theory
says here you get one birth on this planet to establish your unique personality and the rest of the stuff is genetic memory of your fore-bearers.

Premonition meaning precognition is the only single word explanation that i can think of to explain your story but premonitioned from several decades away like wow...

Human history often repeats itself and so maybe within some other life you were also living within a similarly looking place and situation and some time in the future you might be again i dunno?!

And yet according to einstein "the apparent separation between past and present and future is only an illusion although a persistent one"

Even if thats true i still think we live several different life times at least and whether or not they are linearly flowing or erratically strung together our most recent incarnation before our here and now current perspectives was for all intents and purposes still within the past even though it may have actually been in the future?!

Maybe theres infinite reincarnations all being lived simultaneously within endless realities all interconnected eternally by dreams and maybe any and all of our dreams are actually fragments of memories of living within other realities lost somewhere in time and space?!

Quote: In parapsychology, precognition (from the Latin præ-, "before" and cognitio, "acquiring knowledge"), also called future sight and second sight is a type of extrasensory perception that would involve the acquisition or effect of future information that cannot be deduced from presently available and normally acquired sense-based information.

The existence of precognition, as with other forms of extrasensory perception, is not accepted by the mainstream scientific community.

Scientific investigation of extrasensory perception (ESP) is complicated by the definition which implies that the phenomena go against established principles of science. Specifically, precognition would violate the principle that an effect cannot occur before its cause. There are established biases affecting human memory and judgment of probability that create convincing but false impressions of precognition.

Belief in precognition has been related to superstition. A 1978 Gallup poll found that 37% of Americans surveyed believed in precognition. According to psychologists Tobacyk and Milford, belief in precognition was greater in college women than in men and a 2007 Gallup poll found that women were more prone to superstitious beliefs in general.

The only thing I can fathom was that via some bizarre quirk in my early childhood that forced a breakdown in the illusion between the ages of four and five for a very brief period.

I mean, a time loop wherein I go back... wash, rinse, repeat can't be an option. At least not logically, but then - who really knows how linear time actually is.

It's baffled me ever since it happened. I certainly appreciate your thoughts on it though, I know first hand some of us Pisceans go through some strangeness, and you and I practically share the same birthday, so I don't discount for a minute that we may be born in a window where we are prone to experience unexplainable phenomenon scattered throughout our lives.
