According to a Xerox spokesperson, a routine system check by the vendor resulted in system failure, leaving assistance recipients across the country with no way to buy food.

My Social Security retirement check is also late for the second time. Those checks are never late - until Obama.

The first time - which was a month or two ago - it was 47 hours late.

This time, it was supposed to be deposited yesterday, just after midnight Thursday. As of Saturday at 5 pm, it was still not in my account!

Paying late just two days likely saves them billions in interest. But they could save just as much by grounding Obama's vacations.

“In a government shutdown, Social Security checks still go out on time. In an economic shutdown — if we don’t raise the debt ceiling — they don’t go out on time.“

Obama’s clear threat: If the Republicans do not raise the debt ceiling by October 19, retired Americans risk not getting their social security checks!

People complaining on twitter about not getting their food, I wonder how many twittered from an obamaphone? rofl.gif

Isn't fair to the people who need help, but there's a lot of abuse too.

It should be an interesting YouTube video when a million senior citizens storm the WH, peeing on the grass and all that.
