great pics! Am hugely envious. I miss travelling. What a bonus to be able to travel with a pet. This is something I've never done but it must be real cool just to hit the road with man's best friend. Definately a better companion than some of the travellers I've shared journeys with....

look forward to more pics

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

I'm about to make a collar with these wave.gif

Yeah the sasquatch butthole would have been my first guess too.

Let's see, considering you were at the beach recently, I would say sea shell? Cy, how are you designing it...1. reversing every other shell 2. outside facing only 3. inside facing only or 4. the shells (if that's what it is?) lined up side by side?

I preferred jeans, t-shirt, mocassins, and a fringed tan colored suede jacket...and still do.

Sure, we all smiled back then why not? What was there to be angry about? We were all being kids.

I need a beer.

I think we've all been there a time or two. Last time it happened to me, I hopped a plane and moved to Finland. lol.gif Most people can't top that very easily.

And yes, personalities are like diseases. Being around the miserable always causes misery.

Oh I don't know, I moved to Morocco. Mind you that was from the UK, so I have a pretty good excuse. chuckle.gif

I sat down near a devastated bluff wall where a cavern once was

in that cavern was a treasure i found

the treasure was gone
the cavern gone

and i had probably $40 in my hand chuckle.gif

Millions of dollars i owned had been stolen from me

I sighed a bit

looked about and noticed the beauty of the Mountains and canyons around me

I felt a bit better ,,,, just a tiny bit ,, real tiny little bitty bit better

Know what i did ???

I gave myself an insight : Rog' you can dwell on the sadness or the madness and be
mad all the rest of your life over this mess ,,

or ,,,

you have the option to grab onto that tiny piece of feeling better ,,,

and MAKE it grow.

Took some really strong will power for me to stop dwelling on my torture and the theft

took ,,, my WHOLE BEING

In time, and much ignoring the madness

that tiny piece of feeling better grew big

Even now ,,, every other once in a while's

something will remind me of the Madness

I deal with pushing the dwelling on it over into the gutter out of my way and smile myself back to inner peace .

I am not magical , but what i do for me and other's is .

what some others do for me is magical as well

I cut the strings of attachment

and engaged in my wit and humor to cause folks to laugh

to smile for a while

Feeling better ,,,, grew ,, which gave me the ability to release my selfish thoughts

and share my better self

in making others FEEL loved

I healed my wounds

i am still fragile in temperment

get angry easy

However

I noticed that is depends on whether i am around Happy People

or angry people

Yes and this:

Quote:A person escapes only when that person has released themselves
from their own problems

That's it right there. beercheer.gif

Rog, your words are true, but sometimes that's easier said than done.

This quote reflects where I'm at right now.

This is your LIFE do what you love, and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you don't like your job, quit. If you don't have enough time, stop watching tv. If you are looking for the love of your life, Stop. start doing things you love, stop over analyzing, all emotions are beautiful when you eat, appreciate it, every last bite. LIFE IS SIMPLE. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our difference ask the next person you see what their passion is and share you inspiring dream with them. TRAVEL OFTEN; getting lost with some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating live your dream, and wear you passion, LIFE IS SHORT.

It's the travel part that speaks to me...actually the getting lost part and creating and fulfilling new dreams.

Soon, very soon we will have the life we have both decided on, but right now we have obligations.

We are ready to enjoy the remainder of our lives while we still can. Who knows when death will come knocking or sickness strike.
