Red eyes... and when his thing came out on occasion... omfg... must have taken up half his shell.

Red eyes? Oh, I see, the majority of males have them.

i love the trees..

i would love to be able to do something, i do not as yet know what it could be, but
be able to help.

that would be an ultimate 'job' if i could figure out how..

Would volunteering be of interest to you? Not so much in the tree planting area but in the creative area to help promote planting trees? Just check with your local volunteering organizations.

Or buy a touque.

I just bought a toque to have a tree planted - exploitation vs. conservation - can a balance be achieved or is it too late?

I don't think it's too late but they need to quit hacking down tropical and temperate rain forests. Aside from getting rid of nuclear power, I feel conservation of those regions is the biggest single thing we can do to start to be kind to mother nature.
The entire CO2 thing is redistribution of wealth, and moving money around does nothing to help anything, save for a few at the top that are going to make a fortune as always.
The science on that is obviously whacked, and was/is far more about politics.
I'm far more worried about pollutants being belched into the sky than CO2.

Uranium poisoning.

insufficient data for chemical toxicity:
there is no data available for long-term effects of uranium ingestion on humans, all information available is from intermediate-term studies on animals,

Terrible stuff, some places are best left as is, but if their is cash to be made - greed takes over.
We will all pay for this in the long run.

Let me tell you a story
Be it rumor or true
Something I read in history books
I wonder if you knew
Seems like our Forefathers
Did something we're not allow too
Well let me tell you about it

Chorus)
Washington did it
And Jefferson Too
And as far as Franklin Goes
There wasn't anything that man wouldn't do
Thay said they were wise
They form our destiny
But did you know that our Forefathers
Smoked Weed!

Now back in Virginia
Back in 1786
Seems there was this law on the books that mandate you grow this weed in your sticks
For the Forefathers knew
Of it's resilent prize
They'd even let you pay your taxes with it
If you grew it right

(Chorus)

Now back in 1916
Congress said there was no need
To be cutting down so many trees when most these products could come from the weed
The oil and timber industry
Didn't seem to think this was right
And they set out to implicate
Thier diabolical plan of fright

(Chorus)

( Yeah even Lincoln Had his own special Plant )

Now for a 150 years
Everything was just fine
Then all of a sudden
This weed would rip out your ğkking mind
The oil company people had to come up with some scary ass name
And in 1936, Marijuania it became

(Chorus)

Yeah there was more in those peace pipes then people know

Put that one in your pipe and smoke it

Quote:When scientists want to glimpse the climate of the ancient past, they almost always have to use indirect evidence—changes in tree rings, ice-core layers, or pollen deposits. But the ice records from Japan and Finland, which are the longest of their kind, give us a more direct look at the climate our distant ancestors experienced.
