Emergency at Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant: Radiation Leaking into atmosphere
A steam pipe has ruptured at the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant and radioactive steam is venting into the atmosphere!

Prevailing winds are carrying the radiation toward Helsinki, Finland and toward Tallinn, Estonia.

Hope you're going to be okay JR and Octo. Prayers

Was looking around trying to find info on this, apparently it hasn't hit English or Swedish news yet.
The prospect is a bit scary... good time to stay indoors I guess.

yup.gif It's really flown under the radar. One would assume the public would be notified if there were danger.
The other thing is it's been raining torrential amounts the last couple of days, that's not a good thing when it comes to this.

Rain is good. It would wash the radioactivity down before it reached you

Let me tell ya, in all imminent seriousness, whoever the hell were the greedy elite and virtually evil people, originally responsible for giving the go ahead green light to build and operate all these atomic power reactors all over the world, 240 in 56 countries so f###en far, should have had their minds examined and their political and industrial influence stripped and thrown away, because the cons of nuclear power far outweigh their pros, as we are blindly poised and aligned in denial to mostly destroy ourselves once again...
