This was before mainstream internet.
There were news broadcasts going on all tv channels that something was going to happen within a few hours, a non-stoppable life ending event. The news anchors were pale and frightened telling people to make the best of the remaining time. I went out to get my kids and get the family together and everybody was out in the streets, hugging and saying their goodbyes.
The cops had decided to make use of all the confiscated weed and pills in form of green and pink smoke through the speakers on an ice-cream truck. There was music, love and laughter everywhere.
A good time was had by all that day.
oh i like that one lol
Just Plain Nuts.
that is the best feeling ever lol..
its too rare..
Just Plain Nuts.

I have survived the 1970 May 11th tornado, Lubbock Texas. I will never forget it, I was outside riding my tri cycle and my mom came outside and through me and my brother in a closet, I remember watching the roof being torn off, next thing I do remember was my dad carrying me in waist deep water, my grand mother worked at the Lubbock club and she watched two servers get sucked out of the windows, on the 14th floor This Tornado ripped our city up
The last F5 tornado was when Kelli and I lived in Oklahoma, MAY 3 1999 HUGE F5 OKLAHOMA TORNADO, I was working at WH Stewart Steel. I had just gotten to work. it took out 3 building, our CNC presses and 5 brake presses, 600 ton Press, 2-350 ton presses and the 1942 Cincinnati brake press, and 1 150 ton press. it also took out our Powder paint line.
When kelli and I first moved to OKC I was looking for work and just applied at Stewart and was on my way home when the Oklahoma City Bombing happened at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. They shut interstate 40 down and went through 4 check points. we lived on Lake Hefner. It took me 10 hours to get home. Kelli was tripping, we didn't have cell phones back in those days, WH Stewart is only 7 blocks from the Murrah building.
Interesting times we have lived.
It says in the end times people will see visions and the elite will speak of war.
I feel the shït is going to hit the fan and all hell is going to break loose.
Hopefully I'm gone by then and in a spaceship again.
Kobe Bryant and Pau Gassol, good tag team on offense, we get Steve Nash and Steve Blake to draw fouls and get Gassol on C, might them rebounds, and Kobe with his fadeaways, forget it man, we got dis, GO LAKERS!! #24!
