omg.gif

Just got off the phone with my sister, the haywire one, emo-daj.gif she's on a campaign to ban mj from behind the wheel. I ask where she heard anybody crashing a car while stoned, she says only one, herself. I said wow, didn't know that. So I ask how many are hurt while drunk driving, she says millions. Okay. And how many are hurt because of talking on cells while driving and she says LOTS!@!!! And how many does she know were hurt driving stoned? She says well, i hit someone's bumper. I said 'were you hurt?' 'Well, no.' So I ask 'Do you know anybody who has been hurt by a stoned driver?' She said "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS ARGUE, THE BUMPER WAS HURT!!!!" lmao.gif lmao.gif lmao.gif

30 years ago she dented a bumper after smoking a doobie and now all stoned drivers are a danger to the world lmao.gif lmao.gif

oh jeez. emo-daj.gif I love her. She's my sister. But this is toooo funny. chuckle.gif

I suggest inviting her over for brownies and discussing it further.

~~~~~~~ the vegetation has created a mind of my own ~~~~
Ten dollar Doobie
in a two dollar Pipe
and the steering wheel loosens
as i hold on tight
wobble of my mind
not in my tire
swear to gawd
i was never so much higher
then drivin' baked on a drive for snacks
tires felt stoned
and flat from tacks
Damn me for smokin
and drivin on this day
drove 6 hours
realized i never left
the driveway
Too zoned for the wheel
i'm sittin' behind
too stoned for to feel
of my stoned out mind
ought to be a Law
against drivin' baked
ought to be a law
are my signals faked ?
Vegetation has veg'd my mind
whats those lights comin' up behind ?
white line turn to snake
happens everytime i get baked
Ought to be a law
can't remember about what
but it ought to be outlawed
before my bumper get's hurt
~~~~~ End

heh heh

Maybe she can start a group like M.A.B.B. - Mothers Against Busted Bumpers. 15.gif Jeze, there's a major difference between stoned and drunk.
The more drunk people have to drink, the more confident they are they can drive, when atctually nothing could be further from the truth.
Stoned people will normally sit and chill for a while until they are able to confidentially drive. They still have their wits about them.
You can't compare the two, like apples and a side of beef. chuckle.gif

Personally, I NEVER drive if I have had a drink because it is just stupid and I don't drive stoned because I get too paranoid.

I have zero tolerance for drunk driving, but some driver I don't trust behind the wheel unless they have been smoking.

A good point was brought up. There are drivers that once behind the wheel become stressed and there are those, like me, who are relaxed due to many decades of experience (although the authorities will tell us that overconfident drivers are the most dangerous, which for some take the risk drivers, I will agree).

Anyway, I don't know about the rest of you but I normally don't get paranoid from smoking homegrown mj, but I have smoked some strains that caused mild paranoia. I always asked if it was laced with something, but I was always told 'no'. So, do some strains have more THC than others? Would this be the cause?

Anyway, I don't drink and drive and I won't smoke and drive. Smoking mj, which I do infrequently, is a recreational activity for me and the last thing I want to do is to get out there on the damned.gif road. This would be a buzz kill for me.

It has to do with the THC/CBD ratio's. Because it's illegal in some places - some cultivators try to create a product with higher proportions of THC.
More is not better. CBD balances out the rough edge of THC. Some Thai is normally dipped in opium because it naturally has a high THC to CBD ratio. The O balances it out.
I recall some friends back in the early 90's that grew Thai from seeds, that made everyone throw up, break out in a cold sweat and have panic attacks. lmao.gif
