Quote:everybody should be clearly thinking about what the best way of bringing an end to this fighting is,” Tuomioja tells Ilta-Sanomat.

This. Why isn't anybody trying to mediate the conflict? They must want it for whatever reason. Seems Finland is the only country not on it's knees to Brussels.

Quote:Finland is no longer able to keep step with the budgetary rules introduced by the European Union, with revised projections suggesting that the country will fall short of the yearly objective for structural deficit both in 2014 and 2015.

No more than a few months ago, the country appeared to be on the right path with respect to its structural deficit. However, the circumstances have changed dramatically over the summer months.

There's no hope in these parts that this will end well, and it's not a Russian invasion they're worried about.

Next step austerity. Reading this AM Spain is expecting riots and maybe even civil war over EU demands, gov is 'militarizing'. Scotland wanting independence and UK (snort) thinking of leaving the EU altogether.

That would be the point we've reached in the great agenda, yes.
