I like the drive to Big Pine Key in early January.
On the way home in March it's nice too

I'm in my seventh decade on Earth. I know things.

So many young trees are still bent over from last winter's heavy snow.
Call me crazy, but I prefer a cold ass winter to a grey damp one.

If you bought a toasty warm down filled coat venturing out into the cold is a non issue. Did you see Sears commercial advertising down filled jackets and coats for our Canadian Winter?

I spend quite a bit of time outside and while a good coat can be costly, staying warm is priceless. I did however find a pretty good deal and paid €89 for this coat including shipping from the UK.

That is a very good deal. I waited until the price dropped to around 50 - 75% off. The timing of shopping for deals is crucial.

Good coats are a must have. I find the layer clothing the best, gonna' order myself a new pair of sweats and a Treyvon hoodie.

The offices I work in are always too hot, so the layering is a bother. Just throwing on a warm coat over one layer works for me.

Depends on how long you plan on staying outside.

Sure if I had a dog to walk, then maybe 4 layers, and 2 layers for the dog.
