Every position of Rubik's Cube™ can be solved in 20 moves or less

just in case you missed it: in 2010 google researchers found out that it takes a maximum of 20 moves to solve the rubik's cube™.

google computed every position of a rubik's cube™ and it's solution.

amazing if you consider how many hours some of us spent solving this evil cube from hell.

i loved it as a kid. spent so many hours solving it.^^
i can't describe the feeling i had when i solved my first cube. :D

there is always an unsolved rubik's cube on my desk.^^

The classic Rubiks Cube is only just the tip of the iceberg of hand held puzzle toys as there are so many others even more enjoyable and challenging...

Never owned one, never solved one. Just...not interested. I'm a bit surprised they are still around at all.

The Rubik's cube is a great puzzle until you figger out how to solve ~ and yeah, it's done in about 20 moves, all tolled.

The trick: solve one side, call it the top ~ solve the middle layer ~ solve the bottom. 2nd trick: when you get to the bottom layer, treat the top layers as a single entity while you're sliding and twisting the bottom cubes into order.
