Quote:As of Tuesday, Election Day, over 38 million — 38,423,020 — votes have been counted as early or absentee in the 2018 midterm elections nationwide.

That's well more than the total cast in the 2014 midterm elections, when more than 21 million early votes were tabulated.

State by state early votes that have been counted: Arizona: 1,489,166; Florida: 5,018,927; Georgia: 2,094,115; Indiana: 513,420; Montana: 301,443; Nevada: 623,584; Tennessee: 1,366,135 and Texas: 5,868,323, according to the NBC News Data Analytics Lab, using voter file data from Target-smart.

As of Monday, in states that have early voting, 42 percent of voters are Republican, 41 percent are Democrats, and 17 percent have either independent or have another party affiliation.

Republican-affiliated voters have outpaced Democratic-affiliated voters in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Tennessee and Texas. In Nevada, Democratic-affiliated voters have outpaced their Republican counterparts.

The total early vote as of Election Day in 2016, a presidential election year when turnout is much higher, was 46,314,207.

I really don't care for Ted Cruz but I'm glad he beat Beto O'Rourke in Texas.

Exit polls show that President Trump is a major factor in voters' decisions:

Early exit poll results suggest that President Donald Trump was a factor that significantly affected voting for the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections. Nearly two-thirds of those voters said President Trump was a factor. One quarter of those casting a House ballot said they did so in part to support him. Four in ten said they cast a vote to oppose him. Only one-third said he played no role in their voting.

The fate of Congress hangs in the balance: All 435 seats in the House of Representatives are up for grabs, and 35 Senate seats are at stake. CBS News has projected that Republicans have kept control of the Senate, and that Democrats may gain control of the House.

Big Win for Florida tonight.
DeSantis is a staunch supporter of President Trump,
has defeated a choice that would have been
disastrous for the sunshine State.
Good Job Floridians.

Two women seeking office for the first time are vying for the suburban Detroit seat held by Representative Dave Trott, a Republican who is not seeking another term. The district voted for President Trump, but Democrats are optimistic about the chances of Haley Stevens, a former chief of staff on President Barack Obama’s auto task force.

The Republican nominee, Lena Epstein, is a businesswoman who helped manage Mr. Trump’s winning campaign in Michigan in 2016.

Haley Stevens flips Michigan House seat:

Smug B**TCH Democrat Haley Stevens has defeated Republican Lena Epstein in Michigan's 11th Congressional District,
which was previously held by Republican Rep. Dave Trott.

Michigan (my home State) has fallen.

Fortunately,
The House only controls the purse strings and we won't be asking for money anytime soon.

Trump has lined the pockets of the military, an unlimited source, that can be used for National Security

at his discretion.

Edited for changed results.
We didn't do well in Oregon, worse than I had anticipated.

Still have a terrible Soros owned Governor but the conservative candidate was crappy too.

The bad news:
Measure 102:
Measure 102 amends the Oregon Constitution. It allows local bonds for financing affordable (socialist) housing with nongovernmental (foreign) entities. Requires voter approval, annual audits. This measure passed.
Which means they (socialist} will try to build shithole (socialist) apartment complexes for illegals and scumballs.

Measure 103: Oregon's measure proposes a state constitutional amendment to prohibit new taxes on grocers and most groceries, including food and soda. Taxes would still be allowed on alcohol, marijuana and tobacco. This measure failed.
Which means that we won't have sales taxes on food.

Measure 104:
Measure 104 amends the Oregon Constitution. It expands (beyond taxes) application of requirement that a three-fifths legislative majority approve bills raising revenue. This measure Passed.
Which allows the corrupt government to continue reaching deeper into taxpayers pockets without substantial support.

Measure 105: Since 1987, when Oregon became the first state in the nation to be a sanctuary state, state agencies -- including law enforcement -- are forbidden from using resources or people to find or arrest people whose only legal violation is federal immigration law. Measure 105 seeks to repeal that law. This measure Passed.
Which means Illegals can continue to commit crimes and not have to look out for immigration.

Measure 106: If it passes, Measure 106 would mean women who receive their health care through state Medicaid would not have insurance coverage for abortions. This measure Passed.
Which means taxpayers still have to pay for infanticide anymore (which sucks).

Republican state Attorney General Josh Hawley defeated Soros sponsored  Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in Missouri on Tuesday, flipping one of the nation’s most important Senate races to the GOP.

Hawley had 53 percent of the vote to McCaskill’s 44 percent with 83 percent of precincts reporting when McCaskill conceded the race.

Great Job Missouri.
