[...] The code that powers Facebook still knows what you typed—even if you decide not to publish it. It turns out that the things you explicitly choose not to share aren't entirely private.

from the article:
Storing text as you type isn't uncommon on other websites. For example, if you use Gmail, your draft messages are automatically saved as you type them. Even if you close the browser without saving, you can usually find a (nearly) complete copy of the email you were typing in your Drafts folder. Facebook is using essentially the same technology here. The difference is that Google is saving your messages to help you. Facebook users don't expect their unposted thoughts to be collected, nor do they benefit from it.

but who really knows? 13.gif

Never had a Facebook, never will. I am sure they know just about everything about me from friends and family though, with pictures and face recognition.

I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
The wise man’s eyes are in his head,
But the fool walks in darkness.
Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.

Ah good ole fuckbook. Never use it. Thought it was just for bored housewives.

Life is like a penny, you can spend it on what you like, but you can ONLY spend it once.

well, they may know how you look and they may know what you like and don't like and they may know where you live and where you go to work etc. - but they'll never know what you're thinking (as long as you don't type it into a textbox). lol

You know there is some advanced software out there that can link everyone in a community, say a conspiracy forum for example, find those who likely get along, and identify the most influential?

Wish I didn't keep getting banned in odd ways from places off the record or else I could show you some of the links I had about it.

Quite frightening actually.

Maybe If you are interested I can try to dig for some of the stuff again let me know.
