Though I have nearly completed my travel bucket list, I was just thinking the other day just how much I would love to encounter tribal people living off the land in their own environment...how cool would that be?

I spent 3 days in the Amazon Jungle roughly one year ago, but I was nowhere near any tribal villages off the beaten path unfortunately.

I think Africa is one of the last places on the planet where someone can visit and stay with local Tribal people.

I think 2017 might just become an African adventure year?

I borrowed those pictures from Google, maybe next year I take my own? I have some, but not quite tribal for my taste.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

in my village I am used like a servant to the rich landowners and I have to do what ever they ask me
on Tuesdays we collect all the soiled clothes in a huge basket us women carry on tot of our head
we use and old cloth like a table cloth and we roll it up and around to make like a cushion crown upon which we rest the basket full of clothes
on our right hand we carry a bucked full of ash we collect from the fire place
on the river torrent with clean water we have a washing stone so we wash all the clothes by hand with soap cakes we make ourselves
after we finish the washing we put all the clean washing back in the basket
in the ash bucket we slowly mix the ash with clean water until it becomes like a grey paste, soft and smooth
then we pour this ash paste from the bucket onto the top of the clothes in the basket and leave it in the sun to dry up
then on wednesday morning we go back and we wash and rinse the ash soaked clothes back in the torrent
the ash at first looks like it has made the clothes very dirty but after we wash again in clean running torrent then the clothes become white like pure Himalayan snow
and we put to dry on top of raspberry bushes for best ventilation

then on Thursday we iron with a hot iron we lift the lid and we fill inside the iron with burning coal for making it hot and take away the creases

the rich people do not do anything and they boss us around

I have seen on TV like in many modern countries the women do not wash on the torrent stone but they just push one button and that's all they need to do and they have a special machine who does everything full automatic

woahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
