Probably a high markup. It's a spiritual thing probably, like I said. I used to do spinning wheels of doom at the beginning...but obviously they're not going to give children flying metal throwing stars with blades on them...yet.
If you search Google images, you'll find a selection of flying metal throwing star fidget sinners.
There are videos of kids putting nonlethal fidget spinners in vice or something (I don't recall how they secured them) and then pointed a high pressure air hose at the spinner. In one case the spinner took off practically like a bullet would. One eyewitness suffered a small cut as the thing hit him after ricocheting a couple times.
If the thing had gone any faster while still attached, the whole garage might have lifted off the ground. ;-)
