what they basically do is abolishing the widespread system of learning mathematics in one lesson and then having history in another. the new system is rather a mishmash of different subjects under one topic.
finland hopes that this new system which they call "phenomenon teaching" is going to prepare students much better for working life and life in general.
they want to implement this new system till 2020 nationwide.
