Urpilainen rejects common debt responsibility to save euro
Finance Minister Jutta Urpilainen says Finland cannot support the idea of a full financial union to save the euro as put forward by the head of the IMF Christine Lagarde.
On Friday, Lagarde also proposed common responsibility for euro debts and risks. She added a full economic union was the only way to save the euro.
Speaking in Luxembourg, where she is attending a meeting of euro zone finance ministers, Urpilainen said Finland could not agree to implement the IMF plan.
So far so good
