Finland would consider leaving the eurozone rather than paying the debts of other countries in the currency bloc, Finnish Finance Minister Jutta Urpilainen has said.

Quote:Finland is committed to being a member of the eurozone, and we think that the euro is useful for Finland. Finland will not hang itself to the euro at any cost and we are prepared for all scenarios.

Collective responsibility for other countries' debt, economics and risks; this is not what we should be prepared for. We are constructive and want to solve the crisis, but not on any terms.

I think a lot of Eurozone countries are now looking at Iceland's move a few years ago as the correct one.[/align]

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!

Yeah they're still going after their bankers. hi5.gif Difference is Iceland was never in the eurozone so the machinery was probably not as gigantic.

We shall see... pop2.gif

:fuckineh: It's about time people came to their senses! It's time to stop this crap, Finland can stand on it's feet again, getting tired of seeing what crippling effects the EU has had on a once robust economy. The enforcing of a barrage of pointless rules has stifled job growth, hindered economic development and turned the vast majority of Finns against the existing politicians for not pulling out of this long ago.
This is no longer sovereignty, and more akin to slavery.

According to that other thread Finland's inability to stand on its own two feet has less to do with the EU and more to do with beer.

Yes we suddenly lost all ability to stand on our own in 1995 bored.gif

The EU can push through everything they want without the consent of Finland because we're not a big enough economy to throw our weight around. (no fat jokes please lol)

I'm just pleased to see them growing some balls and saying it's an option. beerbong.gif

German High Court to decide July 10 if forcing the German people to bail out the EU is constitutional. Imagine they'll be 'convinced' like Justice Roberts was in the obamacare decision. If they decide against, bye bye EU.

That poor barbiturate taking Roberts, they must have some dirt on that fucker. People don't get those positions unless in times of agenda crisis the POO can pull their strings. Blackmail. There is no longer integrity, only slaves that submit rather than be vetted for the pieces of shït they are.

SC is supposed to be unbiased. The fact that they are expected to vote according to the party that appointed them tells you it is bullshit.
