Finnish Parliament to Consider Withdrawal From Eurozone

The Finnish Parliament is planning consider a corresponding petition that gathered more than 50,000 signatures. Authors of the initiative are calling for a referendum on whether or not to keep the euro or switch to a national currency.

Its author, the country's former foreign minister Paavo Väyrynen, argues that the population is "widely supporting" the idea of giving up the euro and switching to a national currency.

ÖßämÄ is headed for the UK to try and sway undecided voters to stay in the EU.
Gonna' be a relevance test for sure.

This petition has to be considered by the Parliament, by law, since it gathered over 50 000 signatures.

The Parliament then decides whether we can have a referendum or not.

Not long ago this type of petition changed the law on same sex marriages.

By "national" currency do you mean money owned by a private "national" bank that even determines the value of the "national" currency and interest rates?
