Blue ,
kinda wanted a Black one , but for $1,300 , I think it will do .
It won't start , not getting Fuel , it's the Cold Start Injector ( $25 part ) but they don't know that .
They've been trying to dump it for over two months .

HA ! No one could get it to start and run .
watch for updates .
I'll get it running in 20 minutes or less , that's how long it takes ,me to
take the old injector out and replace it with mine .

Another trick to start it , is take out that cold start injector ,
dump a cup of gas in the port , put injector back , start the sucker while
a buddy keeps spraying fuel into the intake , until it's
warm enough to start without the cold start injector .

I'm a Vehicle Genius ,,, I am .

it's a 1984 , the worse year ever for Corvettes , first of the series 3 ,
so , they were full of bugs like the cold start injector , a Digital Dash Board
that had a paper thin circuit board which would crack and ,,,

zilch , out went all the gauges ( $400 to replace it )

an ECM ( Computer Module ) they stupidly placed in the engine compartment

an Electronic Ignition control module that would over heat and leave
ya stranded until it cooled down for 20 to 30 minutes .

Carpet that would fade and fall apart like Chinese Laptops .

However , I know ways around that stuff .

gonna be a fun drive home to California this Late Spring

Had a Saab 90 with the same problem.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

Funny is , because Prince song , I hate Red Corvette's . tee hee

actually , It's all the Red Interior on Red Corvettes that I dislike .

Hey JR , Radio Shack sells a Product ya smear on the ignition module
before ya put it in the distribute , when dry , it makes an insulator between
so it doesn't heat up .

That's how you fix em
I bought and flipped many a car from people who sold
them dirt cheap because they couldn't figure out the issue .

I like your cheap fix idea though , works in a pinch ,
I guess a Frozen Pot Pie would work too .

Yuppers, an insulator is exactly what you need.
I've become somewhat decent at MacGyver rigging out of necessity throughout the years, but I never thought I'd be starting my car with frozen food.

I once owned one of these, it spent a lot of time in the shop. It was very fast, but did not handle so well.

Thermal Grease is what I was trying to say , Not the little tube
that comes with the EICM , but that good stuff ya buy at Radio Shack
and other electronic stores .

Yes Stigoli , The '84 through '88 Vettes were the assholes of Vettes .

1989 , they switched out most of the problematic fuel and electronics
with better stuff .
