Never made sense to me why they went out on the water that night, but one of the guys was an accomplished sailor, had crossed the Atlantic.

Still pisses me off that these assholes did this to themselves. And of course we have guilt that we never found them that night. Then we kept wondering if maybe they just faked their own deaths and were kickin it in the Caribbean or something. We also worried that maybe they made land and that we didn't search deep enough into the woods and stuff.
The autopsy results should hopefully put all that to rest today. And then we just wait for the other body to pop up now.

Strange story behind that.
After a few days, especially in the summer, the hellish smell would preceed the visual contact...
Had one of those along a busy highway here a few years ago. Crack head just went off and died in the bushes. Missing for 6 months before someone smelled her in the heat.
That doesn't top the stench that came out of our local serial killer's house though. He collected seven dead hookers over about a year's time. When he got caught and the bodies started to get moved, oh lord that was some stank that would just not go away for weeks in that neighborhood.

Hmmm? did she wander off into the brush? or did her pimp/drug dealer throw her lifeless body there? and for what its worth, the most evil drug, imo,is crystal meth...
We don't have a big meth problem up here, but I have seen what it does to people. A buddy of mine in Florida has had a hell of a time with it.
