The Swedish flag has now been banned at a primary school in Sweden. The reason is that the flag may be offensive to certain groups and breaking the law "offensive against ethnic groups."

The sensational ban is introduced at Söndrum school in Halmstad. Use of the flag is now only allowed on the national day or when foreign students are invited.

In an internal letter to school students and their parents who were sent out just before Christmas, the school principal writes that "no other use of the Swedish flag is allowed", according to Nyheter idag.

Quote:The reason for the ban is a masquerade which was held at the school recently where one of the students chose to paint his face blue and yellow. He also have brought a toy gun to masquerade.

If I understand this correctly, a primary (elementary? young child?) student from the school chose the wrong costume at the masquerade and instead of determining if the intent was racist, was it just assumed it was and it spiraled out of control from there? dunno.gif

Assumed racist intent should not be the default response gaah.gif There's an underlying societal illness - the news out of there is one strange thing after another.

Can't for the life of me imagine, that all Swedes are OK with this.
How the hell are they going to avoid massive unrest escalating
into civil war..? Oh, wait...

...that was always the plan, wasn't it?

That is only one little school among thousands, though.
But any case, I think they better speed up the "integration" chuckle.gif
if they want to avoid a violent end.

Hahahahahaha - it's just not true how all this shït plays out,
slowly but surely, just like the crazies always said it would.

Also, would not the parents of the child have outfitted the child in that costume and provided the toy gun as well? Look to the parents.
